Abstract

Recent popularity of social media and content sharing networks, with the fast internet access from lots of competitive internet service providers, multimedia content sharing on the internet has become so popular. Lots of sensitive data has been shared in various digital formats. The risk of the copyright infringements and misappropriations of digital content has grown as the same rate. So far digital watermarking is being identified as the best solution for this copyright violation problem. In this paper we present a novel algorithm for invisible colour image watermarking. Which is able to embed colour watermark image to the colour cover image as an invisible watermark. The presented algorithm is based on DWT and SVD technologies. All the main requirements of solid watermarking algorithms such as robustness, imperceptibility and capacity are achieved by the suggested approach. Further we discuss the implementation as well as the evaluation of
the algorithm against above mentioned requirements.
